Assam Pedas, or literally “sour spicy or spicy tamarind,” is a classic Malaysian dish well-loved by all the locals. What’s not to love when the dish is a concoction of flavors.
Ingredients:
Assam, Onions, Lemongrass, Chilli, Sugar, Salt, Spices, Cooking Oil.
Cooking Instructions:
1. Put in 1 packet of MUSC Instant Assam Fish Paste100g to 150ml of water and bring to boil.
2. Add in a bit of salt and Ajinomoto (Optional) to taste.
3. Add in 400g of fish (cut into pieces).
4. Add in 2 pieces of tomato (sliced to portion) and 1 piece of onion (sliced to portion).
5. Add in 4 tablespoon of evaporated milk.
6. Cook for 15 minutes. Serve hot with rice.
